Happy 1st birthday from the Book of You book club, where we collect and cherish childhood memories together.

1. The Moment

Year one - wow! Has life ever changed so much in just 12 months? So many precious moments to remember. Take some time out and fill in your Book of You – memories you’ll never forget.

  1. Grab a cuppa
  2. Pop some toys on the floor for your little one
  3. Add your favourite memories from the last year to your Book of You
  4. Be brave and let them make their mark too

2. The Memory

Jen shared a photo of capturing Harry's handprints.

To share your memory, tag @colour.chronicles on instagram. If we feature yours on our social or here, we’ll send you a book of your choice.

3. The Advice You Didn't Ask For

“The more control children have in their lives, the less they look to control the things they can’t. That’s why it’s not really about “the red plate,” it’s about getting to make their own choice. Autonomy is one cup that young children need filled regularly and making choices is one way they fulfil that need.”

— J. Milburn, parenting mentor

4. The Parent Friend

What Mother Made

5. The Memory Maker

Where the wild things are

Take a walk on the wild side and take you’re little one to a petting farm, zoo, aquarium, or even just the local duck pond. You’ll be helping them get acquainted with animals – and getting out yourself! Don’t forget the photos – they might not remember the day, but they’ll love looking back on it when they’re older.

Happy memory making book clubbers
