Happy 14th birthday from the Book of You book club, where we collect and cherish childhood memories together.

1. The Moment

Year 14 - Friday evening, once a week is done and you have the weekend to look forward to. Get your Book of You at the ready then sit down to dinner.

1. Talk about the year - what were your favourite memories
2. Get them in to your Book of You as you eat
3. What do you think the next year will hold?

2. The Memory

A look in to The Book of Me & You for older children to fill out with a significant grown up. Perfect if you want to carry on making memories together and get your story told or perfect to give to a grandparent too.

To share your memory, tag @colour.chronicles on instagram. If we feature yours on our social or here, we’ll send you a book of your choice.

3. The Advice You Didn't Ask For

“Encourage and support your kids because children are apt to live up to what you believe of them.”

— Lady Bird Johnson, former First Lady of the United States

4. The Parent Friend

BBC3

As family time gets harder to come by, programmes you can enjoy together are worth their weight in gold. BBC3 is loaded with shows that are perfect for both teenagers and parents. Covering everything from currant affairs to comedy, their viewing choices will also give you an insight into the things they care about.

5. The Memory Maker

A Restaurant at Home!

We're food-themed this year! Hand over the reins (and your shopping app) and let your teen create a restaurant at home. Maybe they'll make tapas or crepes, maybe they'll plan a full cordon bleu meal. What's important is that they're calling the shots - and that you all sit down and enjoy the results together - yes, even if there are some burnt bits.

Happy memory making book clubbers
