Great product, poor customer service

I’ve got a set of these books already for my son and wanted the same for our daughter due in the next month. I love the products and wanted to give one to my friend who just had a baby. I placed the order for 3 books but only 2 arrived. After lots of back and forth emailing, I felt like I was being accused of stealing and in the end I had to visit my friend without her present and front up for postage to get the book to her. The service I received wasn’t very pleasant at all.

I'm so sorry you feel like this Rebecca. I didn't accuse you of anything, I asked for a photo of the postage label which you kindly sent me and which showed the weight of three books. I recieved your email on Friday afternoon and you were annoyed with me by Monday morning for not having responded but I was in communications with my fulfilment centre during that time who do not respond over weekends. The fulfilment centre confirmed three books sent as per stock and how the parcels are weighed so I suggested one book must've somehow fallen out on the way and that I would send a replacment book which I did but you then kept emailing asking for more which I didn't think was fair.
I am sorry you had to visit your friend without the book. I did say that I could've sent it directly to her if I had known.
Please bear in mind that this is a tiny business who is struggling in the current climate as I know many of us are. Replacing lost books that have been sent are costly for me in both stock, fulfilment fees, and postage so I do have to investigate and I don't believe that less than one working day is unreasonable.
I'm glad you like the books though and I am sorry for your experience.
