The Book of You: A record of childhood is filled out once a year from age one to sixteen, with the inclusion of questions for the child from age three. It’s a record of childhood, every year, you’ll be prompted to answer 'Who I am to you' so it doesn't have to be the same person filling it out each year, making it inclusive for all families.

Yes, our books have a dedication page at the beginning to write a personal message. Our keepsake books make the perfect newborn or baby shower gift. It’s the perfect journal for kids as they grow up, allowing them to write and reflect on all the core moments of childhood.

Yes, the only prompt for the grown-up is ‘Who I am to you', our books are designed for all kinds of families, from single parents to same sex parents. The Book of You: A record of childhood, along with all our other memory books, are completely inclusive. So, whether its a new dad or two new dads, this memory keepsake is designed for all families.

Yes, all our books have the iconic ‘Make your mark' internal pages, which include a free space for hand and foot prints, drawings, photos, or any type of memento.

Each year, you’ll find a new prompt for the grown-up to write about the child, ‘The things you do that make me laugh', along with ‘Your best quotes'. It’s a memory book to write in, draw in and reflect in, providing all the space you need to jot down everything you don't want to forget.

There are age-appropriate questions to ask from the age of three, ‘What makes you happy?' along with ‘What's the naughtiest thing you've done this year?' which evolves into the most embarrassing thing when they get older. In the early years, the childhood journal presents a wonderful bonding activity between adult and child. The questions mature as the years pass, finally ending at the 16th year with a note to their future self, along with hopes and predictions for the future.

With yearly entries right up to age 16, you would still get 13 years of memories to fill in, so it’s not too late at all. You can always backfill the years you have missed with any photos and moments you remember.

Such a special memory book

I have bought the baby book of you and the book of you for when my daughter turns a year old. It is a lovely book with great prompts. I also find myself thinking ‘I can add that to the book’ whenever my baby does something new. We love the blank page for pictures/finger prints/drawings ect.

It’s a beautiful book - I ordered it in pink and it’s such a gorgeous colour. (They had previously ordered The Baby Book of You when she was born. Again, that’s a beautiful book and a gorgeous yellow). They will be beautiful keepsakes. I had a query prior to ordering and I received first class customer service. I bought my latest Two copies for two friends who have just had their second child. When I first bought them the first ones it quickly transpired that they didn’t ever have time to fill them in so I started doing it for them. Two years later both families loved them so much they’ve asked me to do it for their second child!
